| MSQPC hosted a benchmark visit for Gate Gourmet
International --Zurich, Switzerland -- to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company Headquarters in
Atlanta and Federal Express in Memphis. Nicolas Gueissaz, Executive Vice President of
Operations and Claudia Gluck, Manager of Quality Assurance for Gate Gourmet International
(a division of SwissAir) flew in from Zurich to attend the benchmark site visit hosted by
Dr. Donald C. Fisher, Executive Director of MSQPC.
The Ritz-Carlton Benchmark, conducted in Atlanta,
was presented by Patrick Mene, Vice President of Quality for the hotel company. He
reviewed the Ritz-Carlton philosophy of Leadership, People and Process Management. The
Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards were discussed and reviewed during their corporate line up,
which each hotel is required to follow on a daily basis.
